The one thing that most people are missing in their life to reverse the aging process and holistically improve health is drinking adequate amounts of clean water has been restored do an ideal state based on duplicating ideal environmental conditions. There is only one functional water product proven to do so, and that is M-Water and other functional water products produced with the M-Power Aqua Technology.

I would like to review some basic principles about M-Water products and the M-Power Aqua Technology in order to set the stage for why drinking this kind of transformed drinking water promotes anti-aging and a much higher level of health. A recent clinical study that was completed in December of 2004 proves that drinking plenty of water transformed by adding just two teaspoons (capfuls) per gallon of the Primordial M-Water will optimize hydration. No other functional water product or any type of bottled drinking water or technology used at the tap has been proven to significantly increase cellular hydration. An important discovery in the Winter of 2004 M-Water Clinical Study is that drinking plenty of purified clean drinking water still leaves people dehydrated, but adding two teaspoons (capfuls) of Primordial M-Water to a gallon of clean drinking water resolves this chronic dehydration issue that plagues so many people.

The foundation of the M-Water program is to drink plenty of activated water every day made by adding two teaspoons of the Primordial M-Water to a gallon of clean drinking water. Nothing else in the M-Water Program is as important. However, to boost the healing process and to change cellular chemistry more quickly it is beneficial to drink some of the concentrated Primordial M-Water every day by itself, right after waking up and right before going to sleep. If a person wants to amplify this component of the program even more then they can replace the Primordial M-Water with either Core Water or Core Nectar in terms of which concentrated product made with the M-Power Aqua Technology to take in small amounts daily as a way to boost the healing process.

The "M’ in M-Water and the M-Power Aqua Technology is used to reinforce the importance of vibration as the foundational reason why the products produced with this technology optimize hydration with organizing power. It is not enough to simply prove that there is a reduction in H20 cluster size in drinking water as is the case with many water products, which is also true in M-Water, but also that the vibrational state stabilized along with H20 structure enhancement is biocompatible to the cells. Optimum hydration that is necessary to achieve the highest level of health and to promote cellular longevity requires that drinking water has much smaller H20 clusters along with frequency biocompatibility.

NMR studies have been done on M-Water proving its relatively smaller H20 cluster size in comparison to other sources of water, but there are other water products that fall into the same range of measurement with NMR

The NMR studies on M-Water provide one piece of the puzzle, but the most dominant factor in understanding the biological benefit of any healthcare product or method is based on clinical studies. M-Water is the only functional water product in the world that is validated with both scientific analysis proving smaller H20 clusters and clinical studies proving a dramatic increase in cellular hydration. The difference between M-Water and other functional water products and most sources of clean drinking water has to do with vibrational nuances, which is the basis of Homeopathy and other forms of vibrational and energy medicine.

The director of the Winter of 2004 M-Water Clinical study has indicated in writing that she has found no product except M-Water that actually increases hydration in a meaningful way.

First and foremost, aging does not automatically produce a loss of intracellular water. There is undoubtedly some sort of relationship between aging and dehydration. For example, dehydration is a joint health issue related to aging when looking at how disc space in the spine is lost due to loss of fluid in between each spinal segment. But the issues are more complicated than simply associating aging and dehydration of all the cells in the way same over time. Unfortunately, in the alternative medicine arena biological mechanisms are often explained inaccurately based on beliefs about what goes on in the body with a minimal level of information applied. These beliefs tend to have a life of their own and spread as disinformation very fast in these days of the internet.

Therefore, I need to clear up a common misconception about the relationship between aging and the relationship between intracellular and extra cellular water. Many companies selling functional water products, technologies and other non water products that are supposed to improve cellular hydration promote the myth that over the life span of all human beings the level of intra cellular water automatically goes down based on some sort of specific formula. The gist of these arguments is that consuming a product or using a technology will help reverse the so called automatic loss of intra cellular water as a part of the aging process.

It is true that intracellular water can go down with age if a person is not drinking enough water every day and if the water that is being consumed does not promote optimum hydration. Based on each person’s individual tendencies to hydrate water this will result in different outcomes in terms of the level of intra cellular water maintained. Chronic disease in my opinion contributes greatly to a quicker loss of intra cellular water with a subsequent increase in extra cellular water.

Many of the companies that see functional products and technologies that are meant to increase cellular hydration simply don’t pay attention to medical research that has already been done. A study in France has proven that aging is not automatically tied to loss of intra cellular water.1 Another study in Germany points out a likely mechanism that contributes to loss of cellular water with aging and is the actual culprit in the aging process when it comes to the hydration mechanism.2

The second clinical study referenced that was done in Germany is very revealing to say the least. This study points out that the sole loss of water with aging may be in the mitochondria of the cell and not the rest of the cell. Of course, this study does not evaluate the effects of drinking very little water or water that does not hydrate effectively. However, even if the amount of total water loss in the cell turned out be minor in terms of this study that proves the way in which mitochondria becomes dehydrated with age, the fact that the mitochondria becomes dehydrated more and more with age resolves a lot of issues when it comes to aging.

The summarized explanation of the dehydration and mitochondria connection is as follows: there is decreased fluidity (the flow of water) in the inner mitochondrial membrane, which in turn leads to a decrease in ion exchange in this membrane. This is different than a loss of over all cell membrane permeability for the flow of water in and out of the cell. Which comes first the loss of ion exchange or the loss of fluidity is kind of like the chicken and the egg question as to what comes first. The consequences for the breakdown of the cell over all are dire when there is a break down in ion exchange mechanisms, which is because the German hydration study also points out that to loss of mitochondria fluidity in conjunction with ion exchange will cause either or all of the following with energy supplying enzyme reactions: slowness, disruption or loss altogether.

The mitochondria is the energy supplying component of all the cells in the body, which allows the infinite array of biochemical mechanisms to take place properly that start at the foundation of DNA cell replication as well as immune system function as the primary defense against all disease. Therefore, as a person ages based on an ever increasing dehydration of the mitochondria there is an increase in the aging process of the cells. This in turn causes a breakdown of all the glands, organs and systems of the body. The body as a whole becomes more and more subject to disease based on a loss of potential longevity. If there is a way to counter the dehydration of the mitochondria then the aging process will slow down and a person will live longer.

The preceding explanations on mitochondria may seem somewhat complex, but the bottom line is that without energy the cells lose their function and therefore the capacity to fight disease and death. Even if a person is eating a balanced and very healthy diet and taking supplements that fortify the body’s needs nutritionally and functionally, losing cellular energy as person gets older due to mitochondria dehydration is a major contributor to aging. Therefore, anti aging will never be accomplished effectively without taking into consideration a direct and effective way to increase cellular hydration. This issue goes deeper into it cause than anything else on the level of all the solids in the body that are the solutes dissolved within the solute of water that makes up a minimum 70% of total body weight.

The M-Water clinical study just completed in the winter of 2004 (to read more about this clinical study click to the home page at www.0disease.com and refer to the index) reveals that drinking plenty of M-Activated Water every day (made by adding two teaspoons of the Primordial M-Water to a gallon of clean drinking water) reveals that there is an increase in mitochondrial hydration inclusive within the overall hydration picture of the cell as well as the type of tests that are revealing in terms of the mitochondria. Two of the measurements involved conductivity and resistivity, which will reveal if there is a balanced flow of ions across membranes and through extra cellular areas of the body. Computing dehydration must involve these electronic measurements along with body fluid surface tension and specific gravity. Therefore, when people transform their clean drinking water into the same likeness of M-Water by adding two teaspoons per gallon there is a reversal of mitochondrial dehydration based on a directly associated loss of fluidity and ion flow in the mitochondria membrane. The cells of the body will now have the energy to do carry out the infinite array of biochemical activities necessary to defend the body against disease and aging.

However, there are other facets to the hydration picture. Medical studies only reveal the level of hydration necessary to stop the body from dying, which is a lot like the minimum daily requirements for vitamins and minerals. The MDR indicates that a person only needs 30 mg of Vitamin C and 5000 IU of Vitamin A daily. This is an appropriate comparison in terms of the difference in mainstream medicine which is geared to survival at the most basic level of human life and natural healthcare approaches that go beyond survival into the realm of wellness. In the case of Vitamin C 30 mg is only the amount to prevent scurvy but not necessarily enough to insure adrenal and vascular health as well as effective anti body production. In the case of Vitamin A and the MDR, this brings up memories of public health class in Chiropractic School when we took the government’s own statistics regarding the negative effects of pollution and came up with 30,000 IU needed by most people living in the Portland metropolitan area.

The Winter of 2004 M-Water Clinical Study is based on increasing cellular hydration numbers to a level of wellness and not just to insure basic survival. The technology used in this clinical study is called the Bioanalyzer from Fenestra, Inc, which is simply a quick and efficient way to gather a vast array of information about the body with fluid samples (blood, urine and saliva). Again, with this clinical study it was revealed that most people are dehydrated below a state of wellness regardless of drinking plenty of purified water every day or not doing so. All subjects in this study revealed that after 30 days they all had significant increases in cellular hydration, with an average increase of more than 20%.

Therefore, based on the results from the hydration study, it is necessary to achieve optimum hydration levels that indicate greater wellness and not just biological survival. In addition, based on current research, the mitochondria are dramatically affected by dehydration in terms of contributing directly to cellular aging. From the level of the cell to the entire organism this means the a person should see life extension based on drinking plenty of M-Water every day based on the standard protocols used in the Winter of 2004 Clinical Study.

For those involved in hydration research Dr Batmangehelidj’s books are well know, with the primary one Your Body’s Many Cries for Water. The relationship between dehydration and aging is directly implicated in Dr Batmangehelidj’s book, which is because he lays out very clearly the negative health impact of any level of cellular hydration. This means that Dr. Batmangehelidj is at odds with the mainstream medical perspective concerning hydration on the level of mere survival. From his perspective negative health issues and accelerated aging are relevant concerns whenever there is lack of optimum cellular hydration.

In his book, The Body’s Many Cries for Water, Dr Batmangehelidj presents an easy to understand set of principles. Where he makes a unique distinction as to one of the major causes of dehydration as people get older has to do with loss of the thirst mechanism. Dr Batmangehelidj’s approach is to deal with the issue of feeling thirsty as a matter of will power and understanding that hunger and thirst are very similar signals from the brain. He recommends that anytime a person feels hungry this may be a false sensation and actually all a person needs to do is drink water in order to satisfy the brain’s craving for more cellular energy to drive the production of neurotransmitter production in the brain.

Therefore, as a person gets older and older they often drink less water because they lose the sensation of thirst or suppress it by eating as a replacement for water as well as not drinking sufficient amounts of pure clean water every day. I agree with Dr Batmangehelidj that drinking other liquids or eating things that contain water is never a replacement for water. Often what people call water is simply a solution of a substance with water in it. The result of drinking less and less water as a person gets older is to exacerbate cellular hydration issues, such as the mitochondria that has been proven through research as an essential issue in terms of accelerated aging and loss of fluid between the joints.

However, Dr. Batmangehelidj did not consider the issue about different water sources having different capacities to hydrate effectively. From reading comments about this issue from Dr Batmangehelidj it wasn’t really an issue of science but rather opinions that people should drink the cheapest form of water possible, which includes tap water if necessary. By taking a scientific attitude in regards to hydration as it pertains to water quality it is clear that two different sources of clean water with low dissolved solids (one part per million is a common standard in the bottled drinking water industry), it is clear that the superficial presentation of water as a grouping of H20 is not enough to clarify differences in hydration potential. This is where the independent clinical studies of M-Water come into the picture.

After working with hundreds of people on a personal level to talk with them about water drinking habits it is clear that the thirst mechanism is directly tied to how the cells react to any given drinking water after it is consumed. A well known veterinarian from California by the name of Dr. Anne Smith who specializes in homeopathic medicine for horses and other animals made this comment to me:

"I live in an extremely arid part of California and I know that I should drink a gallon of water or more every day when it is really hot outside. Although I drink abundant amounts of water based on intellectual understanding I can’t say that I enjoy what happens to me when I drink any of the bottled water available in the stores or even purified water from the tap. After adding two teaspoon of Primordial M-Water to a gallon of clean drinking water and following the same program of drinking plenty of water every day the difference is amazing. First of all, when I drink water transformed with Primordial M-Water it doesn’t feel like a pile of cement sitting in my gut and the gurgling is gone as the water struggles to absorb. In addition, and it is a mystery to me in terms of why, this activated water created with the Primordial M-Water tastes a lot better and feels better as it goes into the gut. I can literally feel this type of water absorb very quickly into my body. The most important thing that has happened in this regard is that I now am much more sensitive to when I am thirsty. I can see that drinking water without the Primordial M-Water added to it had deadened my thirst mechanism and I really didn’t know when I was thirsty or not. I had to force myself to drink water off and on without any feeling of thirst at all. I recommend M-Water to both my animal patients and their owners, which is because you can’t separate the health of animals from the people who take care of them."

This comment about the thirst mechanism really says it all. When the cells have any resistance to hydrating water then the body wants to defend itself from something that is even partially harmful. It is obvious to me that the cells remember based on genetics what kind of water is optimum to support living chemistry and that which is not. M-Water releases the body from a suppression of sensation orchestrated by the brain when it is in a perfect form based on H20 Structure Enhancement and vibrational information.

M-Water satisfies every consideration when it comes to hydration and the thirst mechanism. As we get older we can restore and maintain the sense of thirst by drinking M-Water as a duplication of Perfect Living Water from the environment and therefore not slide into the typical lack of drinking water less and less water. This lack of drinking water that has not been transformed by adding Primordial M-Water to it a person gets older and older accelerates the aging of all the cells and pushes a person into drinking less and less water. This negative reciprocal cycle going on and on and a person loses their innate capacity to live a much longer and healthier life.

The information provided in Dr Batmangehelidj’s book makes it clear that a vast array of health issues arise simply out of having any level of cellular dehydration. The reader of the information set forth here should really use Dr Batmangehelidj’s book, The Body’s Many Cries for Water, as a resource to understand how dehydration contributes to the cause of all disease and actually causes disease in and of itself. However, I will review the basics of what Dr Batmangehelidj states in his book will get the reader started. Here are some of the points made in Dr Batmangehelidj’s book when it comes to any level of cellular dehydration:

  1. The body reacts in a survival mode that mimics flight or fright, with a broad range of chemical responses involved. The body reacting to dehydration based on survival is the crux of many of the following issues.
  2. The body will produce more histamine and its subordinates, which is related to inflammatory response as well as tendencies to form allergic reactions, asthma and chemical sensitivity.
  3. The body will produce more cholesterol and therefore create more plaque in the arteries, which leads to high blood pressure and heart disease.
  4. There will be greater vascular constriction, which leads to the same health issues cited in number three.
  5. There will be thinning of the stomach wall, a decreased bicarbonate response from the pancreas and less motility in the entire gut to support healthy digestion and elimination.
  6. There will be a build up of toxins in the cells as well as a disruption in amino acid formation in the liver, which will increase the likelihood of cell mutation.
  7. There will be less fluid in the joints, leading to an increased potential for osteoporosis and joint disease in general.
  8. There will be an increased likelihood for kidney disease based on increased angiotension that is needed to regulate water supplies in the body.
  9. Adult onset diabetes will be more likely because of fundamental imbalances in electrolytes and pancreatic function
  10. A greater tendency for those getting older to be overweight because of lower metabolism, less energy and the body tending to store fat instead of building muscle.
  11. Increased likelihood of depression because lack of water reserves in the cells will negatively impact the brain more than any other part of the body, which is related in part to a lack of neurotransmitter production.

All of the above health issues that are exacerbated by any level of cellular dehydration will obviously contribute to accelerated aging. By drinking plenty of M-Water every day in order to optimize hydration the foundation will be established for the body having a greater capacity to restore and maintain health in every conceivable way and therefore contribute substantially to life extension.

An area of concern that I did not see adequately addressed by Dr Batmangehelidj and in my opinion vastly misunderstood by many involved in alternative healthcare are the subjects of body pH and available oxygen and what to do about it.

I hear from many people as well as doctors that they are aggressively trying to increase the alkalinity of the body. Often this is the case without any real monitoring of what the base line pH is to start out with and what the pH is over time in the body. A pH that is too high can be just as unhealthy as a pH that is too low.

It is my opinion that there are two main contributors to creating balanced pH in the body: 1) a diet that is more dominant in terms of alkaline forming foods, which can be achieved by eating abundant amounts of vegetables every day and some citrus fruit; 2) by hydrating the cells properly with the drinking of M-Water products every day, which will flush out the toxins in the cells that cause the body to be too acid over all.

My opinion about hydration creating a higher body pH based on the elimination of toxins seems to be verified from the initial results forthcoming with the six month M-Water Hydration Study. The Clinical Study Director is reporting to me that some of the subjects are reporting dramatic increases in hydration for those who are extremely acidic, taking a pH at about 5.5 up to about 6.5. Since pH is a logarithmic formulation an increase by one is actually a change by the power of ten, which is dramatic to say the least. In the 150 day study the subjects are following the same program as in the 30 day study by adding two teaspoons of the Primordial M-Water to a gallon of clean drinking water and drinking plenty every day. In addition, the subjects in the 150 day study are taking a much more vibrationally potentized form of M-Water, which is called Core Water. I will wait for the 150 day study to be completed to make further comments on pH and other biochemical changes from using the combination just cited.

One of the worst types of drinking water products on the market is oxygenated water. This approach makes no sense at all and is a guaranteed method to age the cells much faster! Adding extra oxygen to water for drinking will cause oxidative stress and therefore cell damage. This is a lot like oxygen rusting iron, with the more oxygen applied the more the iron will rust. I am convinced from a vast array of anecdotal evidence that drinking M-Water increases available oxygen to the cells, which is a proposition that is common with different approaches to energizing water in Europe. The new 150 day clinical study should provide more validation in this regard. When water is structure enhanced in the dodecahedral shape available from the index at www.0disease.com it make sense from the physics of this type of cluster that more oxygen donation will take place to the cells. Therefore, the only healthy way to increase available oxygen other than breathing air is based on whether or not drinking water is in the right form, which appears to be the case with M-Water. However, it is clear that drinking oxygen fortified water products is unhealthy with or without the use of M-Water.

The hydration versus dehydration issues are vast and somewhat complicated when it comes to reversing the aging process and increasing health physically, mentally and emotionally. Aging and holistic health concerns cannot be separated from each other but go hand in hand.

Inflow and outflow is possibly more important than measuring some sort of static intracellular hydration level. If water is statically held in the body inside or outside the cells this is really one the same as dehydration where by water is not adequately supplying the cells and the soft tissue. This also means that the ionic transfer mechanisms are breakdown that allow for fluidity as is the case with the relationship between aging and the mitochondria as cited in this article

The need for clinical studies is absolutely necessary when it comes to determining whether or not any product does what is claimed. With the already completed hydration study on M-Water and the new one coming up it is clear that the ground work is being established to claim that drinking M-Water and other functional water products made with the M-Power Aqua Technology contribute substantially to the creation of anti-aging effects in all the cells and the body as a whole as well as creating the foundation for perfect health.
