MPS-GOLD™ is a proprietary supplement from Dr. David Wheeler. David Hudson, a lay researcher, has stated that there are hidden elements in the earth and plants that cause super-conductive cell to cell communication so that the immune system can more effectively identify and eliminate disease.
Even though David Hudson has caused a lot of interest in the MPS Aloe Powder, it is actually the most researched natural supplement for the immune system on the face of the earth. Dr. Wheeler's company is the only source of stabilized MPS from Aloe (Mucilaginous-Poly-Saccharides -- also known as Long Chain, High Molecular Weight Carbohydrates) because there is a patented extraction process that removes the mineral salts and deactivates the enzymes when MPS is removed from Aloe gel as a freeze dried powder. Otherwise, there will be a breakdown of the MPS right after the leaf is cut. It turns out that the MPS molecule interfaces with the macrophage and T-cells of the immune system to cause an increase in the normal cascade of bio-chemical events that are required to identify and eliminate disease.
According to Ivan Danhof, PhD, MD, the Aloe nutritional grade MPS has a wide range of molecules, from small to very large. Each of these weights has different healing properties (please refer to the scientific research section for more information). The higher weight MPS is considered to be the Long Chain, High Molecular Weight Carbohydrates molecule, which is the form of MPS that has immune modulating properties, including the reinforcement of Tumor Necrosis Factor by the Macrophage to shut off the blood supply to tumors. The most important discovery concerning other supplements for the immune system I have made is about water, which is both the most simple and yet the most complex substance there is on the planet. Other important support supplements are trace minerals, essential fatty acids and CoQ10. In order to activate the energy and metabolism pathways in the body, these three are absolutely necessary.
